Hello all,
I am trying do develop a model to build a cloud point inferential on the LVGO product stream of a Vacuum distillation unit. There is a LVGO analyser and an inferential. We carry out an inplant test on 3x daily samples of the LVGO to determine the cloud point. Operators currently use these samples and their experience to manipulate the LVGO draw to achieve target cloud point. At times, they do get it wrong.
I have requested daily lab samples of the feed to obtain the density and sulphur content as we switch feeds. Unfortunately I have not been able to establish a correlation. Could anybody with experience on this subject please provide some guidance. Thank you.
